Neil Patrick Harris was on several wish lists to replace David Letterman as host of The Late Show. Now Harris says CBS discussed giving him the gig, but he turned them down. "[They] called me in and sat me down and asked if [Late Show] was something I'd be interested in," Harris told Howard Stern. "I think I would get bored of the repetition fast... I don't have any interest in doing monologue, commercial, sketch, guest, guest, guest, musical act, good night." Harris added he would be interested in hosting a weekly variety show, which CBS brass "still might be" interested in doing. Does anyone else see the long host runs we've gotten used to being over? Turnover city is coming.. WATCH!!
