Despite bad storms in the midwest this weekend, Kenny Chesney went on with the show at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City on Saturday (June 15th). Torrential rains forced more than 50,000 fans to wait an extra 30 minutes for the show to safely get underway
Kenny said, "Obviously, we never want anyone to be in danger, but we know lots of people plan trips to come together for one of these shows -- and you hate for them to lose their travel, their hotels. And selfishly, the fans at Arrowhead Stadium are some of the loudest we play to every year! So, Kacey (Musgraves) went on thirty minutes late and in the rain, like a real trooper, and we got on with the show."
The 2013 No Shoes Nation tour, which has already sold in excess of a million tickets this year, rolls into Pittsburgh's Heinz Field on Saturday (June 22nd).
Kenny is climbing the charts with his new single, "When I See This Bar." He's been performing it with Eric Church during the stadium shows.
