Trace Adkins' new movie role is a first for the singer. The singer is currently shooting a film called Mom's Night Out in Birmingham, Alabama.
He tells us: ["It's a comedy. Once again I'm cast as a big, tough biker. I don't know why I keep getting that role (laughs), but I'll gladly do it. It's fun! And this'll be the first comedy thing that I've done in a movie."] SOUNDCUE (:16 OC: . . . in a movie.)
Mom's Night Out is reportedly about three housewives who take a break from their suburban life and head to the city for a night.
The movie also stars Sean Astin, Sarah Drew, Patricia Heaton, Harry Shum Jr., and Abbie Cobb.
Trace also stars in a remake of The Virginian, which will reportedly be in theaters this fall.
